Kimberly Carpenter-Herring, MSW, LCSW, CCTP, CATP

As the owner of Active Wellness Group, LLC, Kim brings over two decades of experience in the mental health field, supported by a strong foundation in education and leadership. The practice is grounded in a deep commitment to compassionate, accessible care, integrating clinical expertise with a strong spiritual perspective that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.


Guided by faith and purpose, the approach emphasizes healing, growth, and resilience through both evidence-based and holistic practices. Dedicated to building a team of skilled professionals, Active Wellness Group fosters a collaborative, client-centered environment where individuals and families feel supported, valued, and empowered.


Passionate about expanding access to services, community outreach and psychoeducation are central to the mission. Leadership is rooted in integrity, service, and a belief that true healing occurs through connection, individualized care, and spiritual alignment.

Jamie hatfield, RSCWI

Provides strength-based, trauma-informed therapy to children, adolescents and families, focusing on anxiety, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation and family dynamics.


Utilizing evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions, individiually designed treatment. Emphasizes skill-building, resilience, and improved functioning across settings.


Committed to a collaborative therapeutic approach, services support improved communication, effective coping strategies, and overall well-being.

Yvonne anderson, LMHC

With over 20 years of experience servicing children and adults. Background includes public education, offering a strong understanding of development and learning.


Use individualized, client-centered approached with evidence-based modalities play therapy; EMDR, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, trauma-informed and brain-based techniques, along with holistic approaches such as NMT.


Collaborateswith parents providing guidance and support. Committed to a supportive, engaging therapeutic environment.

Emily Vass, MS, MA, RMHCI

Has over 20yrs of experience and specializes in grief, caregiving dynamics, trauma, and work with older adults, provides SYMBIS assessments supporting partner communication, integrates CBT, EMDR, and narrative therapy and is a neuroaffirming clinician, taking preference for nonpharmaceutical, holistic approaches, liberation-focused lens, centering autonomy, identity, and the impact of systemic and relational dynamics on mental health.

Crystal Riviere, MSW, LCSW

Master of Social Work from Walden University with 10 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment. 


Specializes in substance use and co-occurring disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. 


Commitment serving underserved and rural populations. Approach emphasizes accessibility, practical interventions, and compassionate support to promote meaningful, sustainable change.

Shatouria Wright, MSW, LCSW

Experience in clinical leadership, crisis intervention, and law enforcement offers a unique perspective on navigating complex systems and high-risk populations. Specializing in therapy for stress and life transitions, the focus remains on personalized strategies to build resilience and emotional well-being.
 

ashley watson, MSW, LCSW

A dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Chiefland, FL, who believes in empowering clients through a strengths-based approach. After building a solid educational foundation at Santa Fe College and earning her BSW and MSW from Saint Leo University, Ashley began her career in rural community mental health, supporting children, teens, and adults. With three years of experience in school-based mental health, she brings a comprehensive perspective to her practice. Outside of her clinical
